Taken 12-23-2006. Christmas at LaLa's house. Her boy is quite serious about opening presents. There's several more at my photobucket...
I wasn't near my computer to post these on the big day, so here they are now: the three parts of David Sedaris' spin on the Dutch holiday traditions. He also has a work that chronicles his December as a Santa elf in a department store. Santa Diaries maybe? I cannot remember.
The trick now is to listen to the clips in the right order. Ready, set, go!
whew, we made it home. Whirlwind tour of the east, as we do every so often. 3 days in IL, 3 days in TN, 33 hours in the car (total). Oh wait, make that 35, because we forgot our presents and had to backtrack an hour to go get them. *facepalm*

- casual dishes set

- casseroles (the dishes, not the foods)

- apertif glasses (fancy!)
