Went to a reception in this lovely building, they opened the doors so that we could have some fresh cooling air, but this was the picture that looked most spectacular to me. You can see Athena's toe in the bottom left -- it's probably the size of my arm. Talk about colossal!

This was my first watch, a Mickey Mouse watch. I don't remember when I got it, although I do remember taking it to the jeweler's to get a new band (the one in the picture) and to get the crystal buffed (? -- replaced?). I feel like I was probably five or six, but I could be way off on that. I haven't worn this in quite a while, although I have worn it sometime in the last decade -- it has a wind-up mechanism, which I hesitate to mess with anymore. The top of the face reads "BRADLEY" and the bottom states that it is Swiss made.
Maybe I'll take this around to the watch repair place here and have them check it out, see if it can be put to run again....
The big reflecty window is part of some athletic center extension attached to the football stadium (so not for the general public). There's actually a swimming pool on the other side of the glass. I like the way it frames the reflection of the Journalism building up the hill. I've been meaning to snap it for a while -- today seemed as good a day as any.

The wisteria grows on the back of the house. I'm hoping to get some sort of arbor built for it.
Don't let the photo info fool you (if it's even accessible), I did NOT take this today. I forgot that my camera has a date feature, and it was off by a day and an hour. Must have missed leap year some time, as well as resetting for DST.
one time for my birthday, my mom gave me a keepsake box to put my favorite watches in. I decided earlier tonight that those timepieces deserve to be seen. They aren't super-expensive, and they were all heavily worn (evidenced now by the loose and fraying bands), so they're probably not worth anything to anyone else. Brace yourself for the upcoming watch series of pictures! It should keep me busy for several days....
